Add from a link

Give either a chapter list page or a first chapter — both is best. With a list page ReadPace follows the published order; the second chapter link teaches it to recognise this site’s “next chapter” button.

Chapters

Library

New chapters you paste join the current book. Switch books to keep separate libraries — each can use the overall reading settings or its own.

Import a book

Imports a whole book as its own library entry from an EPUB or PDF. The title and chapter names are read from the file itself.

or

Links often fail because many sites block cross-origin downloads (CORS) or send a viewer page instead of the file — choosing a file from your device always works. EPUB, Kindle (MOBI/AZW/AZW3), FB2, RTF, HTML and plain text all import directly. PDFs are reconstructed from their text layer, so scanned (image-only) PDFs can’t be read, and copy-protected (DRM) books can’t be opened in any format. PDF import loads a reader the first time, which needs a connection.

Downloading chapters

Minimum wait between chapter fetches while keeping a book topped up. Extra fetch requests are queued and run one at a time, so nothing is dropped.

Used when catching a book up from its source — importing hundreds of chapters at the top-up gap would take hours, so a shorter but still polite pause is used for the initial run.

If you've put rp-fetch.php next to this app on your own server, open it once in a browser and paste the token it shows here. Pages are then fetched by your server from your own connection, which works on sites that refuse anonymous public proxies. Leave blank to use the public readers only.
